Combined flour, salt, shortening and water into a bowl and mix all together. Remove dough from bowl and place in a mound on a clean surface. Gently shape into 2 discs. pre-heat oven to 450. For filling, mix sugar, cornstarch,half and half and butter into a pan and cook for 30 mins. Pour filling into dough and bake.
