Pork Sinigang

Instructions

Boil water in a big pot. Add onions, tomatoes, a dash of salt, and put in pork meat. Bring to boil over low heat until meat is tender.

When pork is tender, add Gabi (taro) and simmer until Gabi is half cooked.

Add tamarind soup base according to taste, siling pang Sigang, string beans, eggplant, radish etc. Season with fish sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables become tender.

Lastly, add spinach and Kangkong. Simmer for another 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off heat.

Serve hot with steamed rice and fish sauce on the side.
