Cooking Tutorial: How To Peel And Cut A Pineapple

Instructions

First of all, cut off the leafy top and the base.
Stand the pineapple up and slice away the rind from top to bottom.
With a paring knife or the end of a peeler, remove any remaining brown eyes.
Holding the pineapple upright, cut in half, and then half again, to get quarters.
Remove the core, that is quite tough, from each quarter.
Now cut into slices of your desired thickness
If you prefer rings, after peeling the pineapple, use the apple corer to remove the tough core. Turn the pineapple upside down and do the same.
Now you can slice the pineapple into rings.
A fancy way to serve the pineapple is to use the rind as a plate.
Cut the pineapple into quarters, including the crown, cut off the bottom, and make a cut on the woody core, without removing completely.
Separate the flesh from the rind and cut into chunks: then slide them alternately to the left and to the right to make it look like a boat.
